Swaledale – The Pennine Way
Swaledale – The Pennine Way. Early summer photo taken from the Pennine Way with a small sheep gate giving access through the ancient drystone wall. The Pennine Way is a 268 miles long National Trail that runs from Edale to Kirk Yetholm. I have walked the Pennine Way 19 times and this section between Thwaite and Keld is one of the finest sections on the entire trail. This has become my favourite location in Swaledale with it’s sweeping views.
