Hardknott Pass
Hardknott Pass is one of Britain’s steepest roads. A mountain pass that links Eskdale to the Duddon Valley. The road is popular with motorists and cyclists for its challenging terrain and I’ll never drive up it again. This photograph was taken from inside Hardknott Roman fort, a truly magnificent location.
